Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC)

The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) is a standards-setting and certification organisation for the jewellery supply chain, including diamonds, gold, and coloured gemstones. RJC certification demonstrates that a company meets the RJC Code of Practices on human rights, labour rights, environmental practices, mining practices, product disclosure, and business ethics.

RJC Code of Practices

The RJC Code of Practices covers: human rights and security; labour rights; health and safety; environmental management; mining practices; product disclosure (including KP compliance); and business ethics. Certified members are audited by RJC-approved third-party auditors every three years.
